Yes, I am very concerned with the way people act. Maybe because I care too much or maybe as I was once told– I stand on a high horse looking down on everyone else. Either way, I’m glad that web pages are up and that once again Rock had the courage to let things go. A lot of people said a lot of nasty stuff. Half the server hates the other half. I really don’t think any of us are friends anymore. No one has the right to slander anyone… except for me because you know I rule like that 🙂 Seriously, I think that no matter who did what we have all done some pretty shitty stuff to each other. I’m seriously thinking about going elsewhere. I have the means now. I have the knowledge. Hell, I’ve been at this stupid Net stuff for over 6 years now. Everyone is so angry. What is everyone angry at? I’m not sure. I know this though: My life is good. I have a really silly job that haggles me, but at least I have enough cash to get by. I have an incredible wife that I love more than anyone else in the world. My family is great and totally cares about both of us. I have some nice friends who help out from time to time when they aren’t fighting with us. Digitalflood.com started out about unity, but I guess the crew just isn’t there anymore. I feel like I’m on my own now with the exception of my wife. The only person I really can count on is Azazel. Everyone else is busy pointing out who is doing what and meantime no one is doing anything worthwhile. There is so much out there that needs to be fixed and we resort ourselves to wasting our time arguing or doing stupid immature shit. There are people starving, being downsized, pushed around, and babies dying. No one seems to care. The RIAA is about to close down our shop and clamp down on our world, but no one cares. So go ahead do whatever you want… I’ll be on my horse on the hilltop waiting for the next crusade. I hope one day you’ll join me.

[•] It looks like I’ll be moving soon to my mother-in-law’s. Honestly, I’m not to happy about that. I haven’t been getting along with her for a while. It’s not that she is a bad person, but I just don’t agree with 99.9% of what she believes and 50% of what she does. I just don’t like that part of her. I really think she hurts Azazel more then she helps her, but she doesn’t want to believe that because that’s her mom. So I have to respect my wife’s wishes. Honestly, I’m not too happy about any of this, but our future child needs a place to live and my mom just doesn’t have the room, but my mother-in-law does. Ultimately what would make me happy is a place of our own, but that is off a bit (1 or 2 years). Everyone tells me I should bite the bullet and do what’s best for my child. But I ask you is the best exposing our child to what I worst abhor in a person? I don’t know… I just don’t know anymore.

Dec. 6, 1999: Without inciting more of a riot then it is worth, Marlin’s Place named me one of two “Dimwits” of the year. Of course, as is typical response, he took it down after a while. However, I am flattered by the award and take to heart to know that I was described by Marlin that what, “…(he) didn’t know however, is that (he) had just tossed a road flare onto a puddle of gasoline”. I stand by the fact that DigitalFl00d may be the last so called “news” pages to keep its posts up. Yes, I stand by my word and I never delete an entry. For as fanatical as it may sound I really believe what I say here. So proudly I stand by my co-celebrant (okay, maybe not proudly… never the less) Korpios as a Dimwit. Blind to the truth (or at least too firm in my position for Marlin’s liking). Either way Melissa‘s got my back and well… that’s all that matters. For a wife is just not “your woman”, she is your compatriot and companion. The one you trust with everything. Your one true love. A couple days ago while driving somewhere in my “pinto” (it’s a ZX2 damn it… you know the car that beat several family sedan in acceleration!). That stupid “Sun Screen” song come on 92.3FM K-rock NY’s Solid State program. I kept hearing the line, “If your life is miserable… this is as good as it gets”. Wow, and they say Marilyn Manson is nihilist! What a depressing load of crap. I’ve learned one lesson in life: Stick by your guns. If some one thinks your wrong and every one else thinks your right. Hell, if you just darn well know your right… stick with it. As soon as I started believing in myself that is when things turned around and contrary to popular songs– life got better. Respect is only gained by others when you respect yourself first. I truly believe that good karma starts from within and works its way out. Who knows? Maybe one day you too can live as happily as I do… or at least get a Dimwit of the Year award 🙂

Dec. 4, 1999: I was supposed to post a victory post today. I guess I was supposed to brag about how great I am. I don’t have to… remember I said I am done with that game. More interesting was the e-mail feedback I got. Mermaid and Mikista were both arguing over the Warwick 10990 patent. They both claim to own it. So to defer a lawsuit I guess I’m going to yield my claim to those rights 🙂 The only other noted reaction was RRAnarchy‘s post about this whole situation being reminiscent of “What’s My Age Again?“. To that end I remind him neither one of us are punk and that song is about friends treating you like shit for no reason otherwise then them not being able to comprehend your situation not immaturity issues… but this isn’t time for music critiques. I would render this closer to Prick’s “Other People“. A song about the contrasting imagery and self deception encouraged by society’s exterior views of your belief system. In other words, different strokes for different folks. I still think the best thing that came out of this whole thing was Melissa‘s post… I couldn’t say it better. 🙂 Saw End Of Days with Rock, Sexiestar, Gundam, Mel, and myself last night. The movie in my view was excellent. The religious references were accurate and you have to dig that Revelations 20:7 reference. A point to be noted about Revelations 20 is it the same biblical material that Marilyn Manson‘s “Antichrist Superstar” cycle sequence is based on. One thing I would have liked to see in the movie: a hydra and beast reference. All in all however, I can’t argue with the final output. I only wish Arnold had a bigger vocabulary in the movie, they over stereo typed the poor guy. I did like how the writers made him human and beatable. Something they normally don’t do in an Arnold movie. I give it four out of five flannels. In a final note, I’m going to be posting an essay later, but I haven’t decided about what yet. So ummmm…. check back later 🙂
